Icelandic Sheep:

A True Multipurpose Breed

We raise registered horned Icelandic sheep for breeding stock, fleece, meat, milk, horns, and pelts.

Icelandics are a true multipurpose breed.  They give so much back to the farm, and produce so many different natural materials, their uses are only limited by your imagination!  See our Products pages to get an idea of the amazing variety of items our sheep help us supply.

We’re very proud of the superb genetics of our sheep.  Most of our sheep carry a percentage of AI ancestry from some of the top sires in Iceland.  Many are also descended from well-known North American bloodlines.

The things we love most about Icelandic sheep are their hardiness and versatility.  So, as we move into future generations, our breeding plan will continue to select for balanced animals that provide excellent meat and fleece production; improved heat and parasite resistance; diversity of color and bloodlines; prolific, easy lambing; and superior mothering ability.

Our sheep are registered with the CLRC.  We are members of the Icelandic Sheep Breeders of North America (ISBONA).

If you are interested in starting a flock of your own, or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  I always love talking about sheep!
